Cherry Stones are bigger than wheat grain, linseed, or oil seed grain found in other microwave heat packs; this helps the cherry stone bag stay warmer for longer. Also they do not have the strong smell of wheat.
The Cherry Stone bag can also be used as a cool pack by simply cooling the bag in the freezer.
